ROBOTIC INSPECTION FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

The founding principle and mission of Energy Robotics is to use autonomous robotics for a better tomorrow. We passionately support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) charted by the United Nations and empower our customers to contribute to 5 of these goals. Make your operations sustainable by onboarding autonomous robotic inspection.

HOW WE CONTRIBUTE

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

All Member States of the United Nations adopted 17 goals in 2015, which act as "a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future" by the year 2030.These goals are a universal call to action to urgently chart policies and implement measures that propel the planet and all its people towards peace and prosperity in a holistic manner. The core objective and spirit of the SDGs form the foundation of our guiding philosophy and are at the heart of everything we do at Energy Robotics. Driven by our mission of using autonomous robotics for a better tomorrow, we contribute to 5 SDGs.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING (SDG 3)

The objective of this goal is to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being at all ages. Energy Robotics contributes specifically to Target 3.9 of this goal, which states:
TARGET 3.9: By 2030, substantially reduce the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water and soil pollution and contamination.
Our mission at Energy Robotics is to prevent people from being deployed in dangerous environments and to reduce their exposure to hazardous substances by enabling robots to perform inspection tasks in these potentially harmful environments.

AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY (SDG 7)

The objective of this goal is to make energy more sustainable and widely available. Energy Robotics contributes specifically to Target 7.2 of this goal, which states:
TARGET 7.2: By 2030, increase substantially the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix.
An increase in the share of renewable energy will be inevitably entail an increase in the number of energy distribution facilities such as electrical substations in remote areas. We are helping energy providers and distributers cope with the growing number of substations by enabling remote inspection of these facilities through autonomous robots.

DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH  (SDG 8)

The objective of this goal is to improve standards of living and create decent jobs that are safe and secure. Energy Robotics contributes specifically to Target 8.8 of this goal, which states:
TARGET 8.8: Protect labour rights and promote safe and secure working environments for all workers, including migrant workers, in particular women migrants, and those in precarious employment.
We enable industries to maintain a high standard of safety through reliable inspection of critical assets and reduce the exposure of workers to potentially harmful environments through the deployment of autonomous robots. Furthermore, robots takeover tasks which are dangerous, dull and undesirable, thus freeing workers to perform more fulfilling tasks.

INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE (SDG 9)

The objective of this goal is to promote economic development through the interplay of innovation, infrastructure and sustainable industrialization. Energy Robotics contributes specifically to Target 9.4 of this goal, which states:
TARGET 9.4: By 2030, upgrade infrastructure and retrofit industries to make them sustainable, with increased resource-use efficiency and greater adoption of clean and environmentally sound technologies and industrial processes, with all countries taking action in accordance with their respective capabilities.
We help industries accelerate their journey towards Industry 4.0 through autonomous robots. We enable digitisation in brownfield industrial plants through the automation of inspection tasks.

CLIMATE ACTION (SDG 13)

The objective of this goal is to protect the planet by combating the universal problem of Climate Change. Energy Robotics contributes specifically to Target 13.3 of this goal, which states:
TARGET 13.3: Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning.
Our commitment to climate action is three-fold. First, we equip robots for early detection of gas leaks. Thus, operators can be alerted in time to repair leaks, ensuring minimal emission of harmful gases to the atmosphere. Second, autonomous inspection missions undertaken by robots reduce the need for commutes to-and-from remote industrial sites. Third, by enabling renewable energy distributors to scale their facilities in remote areas, we help in increasing the share of clean energy which entails a reduction in the emission of green-house gases.
