Energy Robotics, a pioneer in Enterprise AI platforms for autonomous inspection devices like robots and drones, has entered a new partnership with international industrial services provider Bilfinger. This strategic collaboration enables Energy Robotics to deliver its comprehensive, state-of-the-art inspection solutions to customers in the Oil and Gas industry, marking a significant milestone in advancing digitalization and innovation within the industrial sector. By combining advanced technology with Bilfinger’s reach and expertise, inspections are now safer, more efficient, and more cost-effective for customers.

The new reseller partnership enables Bilfinger to offer comprehensive inspection solutions to their customers: Bilfinger will incorporate and support Energy Robotics’ advanced Enterprise AI Platform as part of its digital services portfolio, advancing the use of industrial drones and robots for end-to-end value creation. The Platform enables autonomous data collection from robots, drones, and different IoT devices across industrial plants. The specialized AI processes and interprets this information – identifying equipment, reading pressure levels, detecting heat changes, and spotting gas leaks or early signs of failure. Every device running connected to Energy Robotics adds new detail to an Evergreen Digital Twin – a continuously updating, virtual model of a site, for real-time, remote asset management to optimize integrity and predictability.

The benefits are substantial: Automated, AI-driven inspections across multiple devices significantly reduce operational costs, minimize safety risks, and improve data quality and consistency. Key performance indicators include an average 20% reduction in operator round costs and, e.g., a tenfold decrease in operational expenses for tank inspections.

Marc Dassler, CEO and co-founder of Energy Robotics, commented: “This partnership advances our goal to bring AI-driven, autonomous inspection to vital assets. Together, we help operators achieve new levels of efficiency, resilience, and sustainability. Having Bilfinger as a Reseller Partner who actively supports our product is a bold next step and a clear signal of strong reliability and trust for our solution in the industry.”

The professional implementation and integration of Energy Robotics’ autonomous technologies into customers’ existing operations addresses major industry challenges – such as the inspection of aging infrastructure, hazardous locations, and remote equipment. Working together, Energy Robotics and Bilfinger provide a safer, more efficient alternative to traditional manual inspections and maintenance.

“Our collaboration with Energy Robotics is an important example of how we enhance the efficiency and sustainability of our customers by utilizing cutting-edge technology,” said Gerald Pilotto, Chief Products & Innovation Officer at Bilfinger. “By combining our extensive expertise in maintenance and inspection with Energy Robotics’ innovative AI platform approach, we are delivering unparalleled value to our international customers. The next steps include scaling the deployment of these solutions across all our target industries, further solidifying Bilfinger’s leadership in digital transformation.”
